father's cobla. The ensemble is one of the most prestigious cobla ensembles, as well as a dance orchestra with a highly consolidated history. After Rigau’s passing, he was succeeded by Vicenç Bou, whose popular compositions were disseminated thanks to the ensemble. From the early years of the 20th century, the cobla has made many recordings. In addition, they did a few international trips, first to Paris (1928), where they bought jazz instruments, and later to Atlanta (1996). The cobla was revered by composers such as Enric Morera.
