Historia:
Founded in 1988, this association is preceded by the Agrupación Española de Maestros Directores y Concertadores de Barcelona, in its turn founded in 1920 and associated with the Patronato de Músicos and the Montepío de Músicos. The primary aim of the institution is to provide a meeting point for musicians and conductors, in addition to maintaining the historical archive. It promotes concerts and publishes the monthly newsletter called Vibrations. The organization has been chaired by Agustí Cohí i Grau, Lluís Farreny and Maria Teresa Giménez.
