Biografía

Pianist, harpsichordist, pedagogue and composer 

He studied in Majorca and Madrid, where he obtained the piano prize at the Real Conservatorio. In 1926, he studied at the École Normale in Paris with Alfred Cortot and started studying harpsichord with Wanda Landowska. On his return to Majorca, in 1930, he combined his concert activity with his pedagogical activity, the later developed in collaboration with Joan M. Thomas. From 1961 he moved to Alicante to work at the conservatory, and in 1970 he became the first harpsichord professor of all state conservatories. In addition, he conducted research on acoustics and computer science. Among others, he composed piano music and the opera El castell d'iràs i no tornaràs.
