Composer, Performer and Teacher

Brother of Ramon Carnicer. Although very little is known about his training, it is probable he was trained in the Music Chapel of the Cathedral of La Seu d'Urgell like his brother. He was interested in the world of the guitar and was disciple of Dionisio Aguado in Madrid. He established himself in Seville, where he taught and composed guitar pieces. Only a some of his output has been preserved, including Variations on a theme from Bellini's Il Pirata.
