Composer and Fiscorn player

He studied at the Music School of Peralada. He was one of the founding members La Principal de Peralada in which he was first fiscorn. He later became a member of other ensembles such as the orchestra Els Fatxendes of Sabadell, the orchestra Torres of Barcelona and the cobla La Principal de Palafrugell. In 1918 he co-founded the cobla La Lira de Sant Celoni.

He composed different sardanas, some of which he signed under the acronym JOFERTO.
