Kapellmeister and composer

He was at the choirboy of Montserrat. Later, he was appointed second Kapellmeister of Santa Maria del Mar. In 1774 he was appointed Kapellmeister of the cathedral of Girona, where he succeeded Manuel Gònima. From 1780 he was the chapel master of the cathedral of Toledo and when he retired in 1792 he was appointed canon in Girona. His includes mainly sacred music with some masses of large ensembles such as Missa en La Major and the Missa de Rèquiem.
